MAC Units

• 2-year Parts & Labor from date of installation
• Compressor (parts only) for the 3rd through 5th year

• Store reports problem at store to Service Plus at 877-482-7238
• Service Plus dispatches a Service Provider
• Service Provider determines if problem is with Heatcraft equipment
  • Note the equipment serial number and determine if in warranty
  • Serial number is required
• If in warranty, Service Providers contact Service Plus at 877-482-7238 to obtain repair authorization
• Repair is authorized and Service Provider completes repairs
• Service Provider sends invoice to Service Plus for payment
• If not under warranty, unit is repaired under normal RFS and invoicing procedures

• Mechanical/electrical failures "within the box" (i.e. condensing unit, evaporator)
• Compressor
• Condensing unit fan motor
• Evaporator fan motor
• Contactor
• Capacitor
• Coil leaks

• Field piping/wiring (i.e. line sets and drain line heaters)
• Adjustments to the system
• Normal maintenance
• Nuisance calls
• Installation-related failures
• Refrigerant top-off charge
• Product loss

Serial numbers contain several pieces of information including manufacture date

• Example Serial Number: T16H14196
• T = Plant Code: Manufacturing location (T - Tifton GA, D - Danville IL)
• 16 = Year of Manufacture (2016)
• H = Week of Manufacture (H - 8 month or August)
• 14196 = Sequential number of the unit produced
